Just wondering everybody's thoughts on this, but mine would have to be the 04 Florida game when the kick was good, and basketball it was the 06-07 season when texas was trying to throw the ball in right after lofton hit the 30 footer over durant. :salute:

Neyland #1 was florida '98, #2 was georgia in '01 when we scored right before GA hobnailed booted us

In '98 I honestly thought the stadium was going to fall apart, I've never heard it that loud and the stadium literally shook. Perks of having season tickets

The 04 Florida game was loud...but the CAL game at Neyland was VERY LOUD the entire game...musch louder than normal...I think it was from us coming off the 5-6 year the crowd was determined to cheer us to a win

'98 florida game...

'04 florida... > 109k at night in Neyland

'06 florida was very loud too, especially when we had them backed up to their own goal :banghead2: but probably more so because of my seat (3rd row sideline behind the florida bench)

I'll be doing my part to make the 2008 florida game the loudest yet.

92 UF. If memory is correct that was the absolute down pour game. Loudest ever.

It was already mentioned, but the 01 georgia game was nuts after stephens scored... I think one reason that game sticks out to me is because 47 seconds later you could have heard a pin drop

I'm convinced that Tenn/Ark 98 would have been one of the loudest had many fans not begun walking to their cars when Stoerner fumbled.

I remember the LSU 01(not SEC Championship) game as being pretty loud as well. I was yelling, but I couldn't hear myself. Nate Longshore described what I'm talking about perfectly. "It's static noise. You can't hear anything."

I have only been to one game and that was last years game vs. Vandy so that is mine.

06 Cal (OK...so that's my only game, too...but I hear that it was very loud from those that get to go more often).

Even with some fans having left the stadium, my vote goes by a slim margin to the 98 Arkansas game. Due to the fact from the time of the fumble until Travis Henry scored, you could not hear the person standing right next to you. The very close 2nd is 98 Florida with a lot of the same similiarities as far as not being able to hear you neighbor while you are yelling to communicate. All the rest seem to blend in together and not really stand out. I imagine if I would have been in attendance when Whilhoit hit that FG against Fla that it might be 3rd.

04 Florida or 06 Cal

Florida in 04 was insane. I believe that was the loudest but it ebbed and flowed. Parts of the game were quiet.

Cal in 06 was like the whole damn crowd unleashed their frustration out about the 05 season in one game. I've never heard the stadium get that loud and stay that loud.

Loudest single moment in a game? '06 Florida. The Pick 6 before it was called back. I've never been somewhere where it was so insane one moment, then have the life drained out the next. Crazy.

The Arky game in '98 was pretty loud, you had to scream to take your mind off the weather.

I can only think of one other time, UGA 2001
