Without a doubt, the 1995 game at Florida where Tennessee was leading at halftime. I am almost certain that they were piping the crowd noise back through the PA system. There is no way that stadium's construction is conducive to creating that much noise. I was sitting 2 rows from the top in the southeast corner. During halftime, all of the Tennessee people around us were acting like the game was over. My buddy and I looked at each other and shook our heads at the same time. We knew that Florida was very volatile and we knew that Fulmer would try to burn the clock on offense. Well...the final score was 62-37. There was a friggin typhoon that blew in about the end of the 3rd quarter and I bet it rained 5 inches in about 15 minutes. My buddy and I left because we couldn't stand to see any more. Florida scored 3 times from the time we got up to leave to the time we set foot on the street outside the stadium. Anywho....It was far and away louder than any football game I have ever been to.

Loudest game that I have witnessed in person has to be 07 Georgia when we just crushed them from the get-go.

LSU game in 06 was also pretty loud at several parts of the game.

And I would throw in 07 USCjr after they missed the fg in OT to give us the win. It was really loud when he was getting ready to kick it, and it got even louder when he missed it!

Not sure about loudest game because we were all on pins and needles but the loudest moment, in my ENTIRE life, is when, in Gainesville, Jarvis Moss blocked the go-ahead FG in the last seconds of the game against South Carolina, preserving the 17-16 win for the Gators and the chance to play for the NC.

'98 Arkansas when Travis Henry scored the go ahead TD. It was great watching people file out then rush back in when Stoener fumbled. It was loud when he fumbled but noting like when #20 scored the TD.

Its not been listed but I can't recall how many games I have been to, student or otherwise. The '03 Arkansas I think it was when Jason Witten caught the TD pass in the 6th overtime--crazy loud. And of course '98 UF. I don't know if any compare to that one

I think the loudest game for me was the 04 Florida win. As soon as the field goal was made the sound rumbled the bleachers right above the 45 yard line where my buddy and I sat. That was such a great moment I wish I Could have been at the sugar bowl game I would have loved shouting GO VOLS walking down bourbon street.

Like many others, I have to go with the '04 Florida game, I was hoarse for a week after that game from yelling so much.

Oh my god.....

THANK YOU FOR THIS. It's sad that I've almost forgotten what it was like back then. One thing Sean McDonough said really--I mean REALLY--hit home (and not in a good way). "...it just goes to show the depth at Tennessee when they loose a guy like Jamal Lewis and a guy like Travis Henry steps in...

Its been way waaaay too long since we've had that kind of depth at any position; i.e. Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry, Travis Stephens.

GOD I hope Kiffin brings that back! I want to hear Neyland rocking like that again!!!! :clapping::clapping:
