This team could be really good but:

1. Woolridge, Prince, and Goins think they are long-ball shooters. We should start scoring them turnovers every time one of those guys attempts a shot past the FT line.

2. Chism gets fewer touches on the post than the three above player shoot outside shots.

3. Baby Pearl takes minutes from someone who could be an asset. He can't rebound and on offense he is a total liability. He can't hit a layup. On defense, he get an occasional steal, but gets abused in the low post and is slow of foot.

It really is kind of frustrating to watch so much talent on a team get underutilized because they do whatever they want. I'm not sure why Kenny Hall and Baby Pearl don't launch three pointers if Renauldo Woolridge has the continous green light to do it.

Goins and Maze are clearly drive and finish PGs and should stick to that. JP Prince could get 15 every night just by cleaning off the glass. Chism is our best player, but can't get touches. And Hopson is too inconsistent to be counted on.

Saturday night could get very, very ugly.

March could go either way -- this team is capable of so much and yet so little on any given day.

Very good points. I don't believe you are calling Baby Pearl "wasted talent," but clearly he is not since he never had any talent to begin with.

Like who?

Like who?

Chism at PF with either Hall or Williams is better because Hall and Williams can get rebounds and won't get abused in the low post.

Woolridge at PF with any of the above 3 is better if Pearl jerks a knot in his ass about outside shooting.

Williams hasn't played the whole past month. That's why Pearl was playing minutes...it's not like he was playing before then.

And those other three don't need rest?

Think twice before you speak, not the other way around.

Tonight I declare us the laziest team in America. We are lazy on every pass we make, we are to damn lazy to get a rebound, and we are to lazy to move to get open. We have missed god knows how many rebounds because we are lazy, we have had who knows how many turnovers because of laziness!! This is pathetic

This team has been together basiclly for 3 years. They could not be alot better, they are what they are. 7-10 loss team with a first or second round exit..

PERIOD>> the facts are indisputable, just look at the last 4 years. ONE sweet 16 with alot better backcourt than we have now. They r what they r. Slightly above average and they do not have the ability to do much better,....Sorry...GBO

Vandy has beaten us by 7 on our on floor and looks to be much worse than that on theirs.

We r not beating ourselves, there is an opponent on the floor and they r playing very well.

I cant stand them either, but we r not the only team on the floor, Here is a thought, they may actually be better than us.......GBO

How you can forget to show up for a rivalry game that is a prime time game on ESPN? There is no way this team can go far in a tourney. I am not a fair weather fan but they are closer to a one and done than an Elite Eight. Their shot can stop at any moment and when it does the movement on offense does as well. Three blowout losses show if things don't go their way they mentally check out well before the game is over.

Thanks for the dumb advice. Pearl is a bench warmer at a mid-major. Brian Williams is better than Baby Pearl after eating at three different buffets and not practicing for 3 weeks.

Not sure where I posted that the other three don't need rest. Make something else up to argue with me about.

Ummm ... sorry but this team isn't that talented.

Yep -- neither was Dennis Rodman just because he couldn't shoot free throws or hit a jump shot.

JP Prince may be the best athlete in the SEC. He's a freak with his length and handle, but he is no better than Baby Pearl when he's jacking threes.

We are also forgetting that McBee is contributing nothing to this team right now. This team is just too inconsistent.

Actually Dennis Rodman was incredibly talented. He had the best rebounding instincts in the NBA for a decade. Just being an athlete doesn't mean that a guy is talented in terms of basketball. Those are two completely different things.

Comparing Prince to Pearl? Really? You have lost all sense, if you had any to begin with.

This team's inconsistency starts with us not being able to have any half court set plays..our so-called Flex offense can't be run when guys are typically standing in place and never cutting to the basket. I am behind Pearl 100%, but we have to get more consistent on the offensive side of the ball, this loss really hurts

Pearl's son is just on the team to eat minutes when needed. Bruce knows he's not that good.

Somebody needs to find a way to inject a mean streak into Scotty Hopson. He gets to the basket, but it just seems like the fire isn't there from start to finish. Scotty, get that competitive streak rolling already!

Yes but there comes a time where you just have to sit him down. I would rather us put an extra guard in the lineup than have Pearl's son waste a spot on the court.

3. Baby Pearl takes minutes from someone who could be an asset. He can't rebound and on offense he is a total liability. He can't hit a layup. On defense, he get an occasional steal, but gets abused in the low post and is slow of foot.

You can criticize Pearl for his lack of ability, but he plays better defense than the other 4 on the floor with him. Yes he's an offensive liability, but on the defensive end he is an asset. If some of the others would lock up their men on the defensive end, Pearl wouldn't see as many minutes.

Major Wingate, Ramar Smith, Duke Crews, Josh Tabb, Tyler Smith, Brian Williams.

Pearl isn't stealing minutes, he was given minutes.

"Asset" may be a bit over the top.
