vol fans right now.

volnation currently has more than 4,000 people online and i will assume the majority of those are football fans.
now, say 3,000 of those fans are ready to fire dooley and very unhappy with the program at the moment. those 3,000 will help spread the negativity to atleast 5 other people each with our grand total of unsatisfied customers being 15,000. thats a little bit more than 15% of neylands capacity.

heres what i propose. everyone settle down and wait to pass judgement on this staff til after its 3rd year. if we dont see serious improvement next year and be competitive in most games like most of us expect, ill in return expose who i am and personally have a dunking booth set up outside the stadium and everyone is invited down to take his or her best shot. oh, ill do it in january.

we'll have some fun one way or the other next year. any takers?

I love the idea, but i will never happen here. To many arm chair coaches that know more than anyone else.

Really don't intend to be negative, but... DaRick and Rivera were the only offense we had. Someone had to get some yards. Austin Johnson was the MLB, again, someone has to make some tackles. Mo Couch blossomed as he got in shape. Bray's talent and ability were evident last year. The only question was his decision making. That's still probably in question. I'll give you the defense- vast inprovement no doubt.

Bray wasn't even considered on the preseason all SEC team, apparently the feeling wasn't the same from people that aren't tennessee fans.

Austin Johnson led the team in picks too..... Your acting like its easy to tackle. Yes the MLB will more than likely always lead the team in tackling but he still played very solid

Da'rick could only run reverses last year.

If thats the case, why didn't Z. Rogers do any better?

Oline goes from the worst pass blocking team to one of the best.

Rivera goes from invisible to on the Mackey Watch list

Da'rick goes from not even being able to run a route to a 1000 yard receiver

Total Defense goes from in the 60s to 28th.

Bray goes from being considered inaccurate and wild to the best qb in the SEC.

Couch goes from being considered a bust in early practice to a force on the dline.

Austin Johnson goes from a fullback to our leading tackler.

Should i go on?

Did you seriously just say our oline got better?

An o-line that blocked for a thousand yard rusher last year, couldn't get any push this year, even against Montana.

Poole also regressed.

We lost to Kentucky and were lucky to beat Vandy.

First back to back losing seasons in a 100 years.

We didn't score in the second half for 5 or 6 weeks in a row at one point.

I agree the defense did improve throughout the season but that's because we actually have a competent coach as a DC unlike the head coach.

Because Da'Rick is infinitely more talented than ZR.

no experienced dline depth was killer too.

If McKeffery can work his magic, our D-line will be much better this next season. Let me ask you something skeet, do you agree that our O-line is soft?? By soft, I mean they don't have that nasty mean streak to just mess someone up. It's like they are just a bunch of nice guys playing football.

I agree that after year 3 a better assessment can be made.

I know my heart wanted this year to be better but rationally after injuries/departures and lack of depth, we had too many mules in a horse race.

Soft and slow.

Yea, but your argument is that someone had to get open to catch the ball. Da'rick and Rivera got a lot better than last year. Z Rogers, not so much

Okay then by your argument Da'Rick became an All-SEC 1,000 yard WR because of coaching. Did the same coaches not work with ZR? spend less time with him? Did he not go to practice? The difference is talent.
