Lot of folks on TOS suddenly saying it’s Pruitt

So informative. Stupidity is real!

Just providing why I think 6-6 is a very tall order for anyone who takes the job.

One the bright side, the majority of the 2 deep are now either Seniors,RS Juniors or Juniors. There's a huge difference between 22/21 y.o and 19 year olds at this level in terms of maturity and experience.

Like the RB Stable if #4 stays.
WR is fairly talented

On the D side, the secondary could benefit the most from a Pruitt hire, especially based upon his results from UGA and ala.

Really need O-Line and D-Line plus a Strength and Conditioning Coaching program that also builds mental toughness. The hardest part for this program is to overcome the "Here we go again" when the breaks don't go our way - (Pour on More Steam).

Don't see 2018 with a new staff beating WVa, fla, UGA, Ala, Aub. or SCar. Thus, have to beat ETSU, UTEP, Charlotte, and then run the table vs. Ky & Miz at GN and then beat Vandy in Nashville.

Hope that I am wrong, but not able to rationalize any upside beyond 6-6...

GBO!

Debatable that it was Fulmer who turned them in. Many believe it was actually Spurrier.

Either way, **** them. They’re pissed at UT because THEY were dirty and got caught? Never understood that. Like UT and the rest of the SEC teams are supposed to let them cheat just because they’re ‘bama.

**** them.

The crap hit the fan in 2004. They hated Fulmer because, at that time, he had beaten them 9 out of the last 10 meetings. That's the ONLY reason he was so hated. Spurrier and Nutt also turned Bama in, but there was little made of it because Fulmer was the one beating the crap out of them. Some "friends" spewed hateful venom at me when I wore UT gear.

I thought that it was actually Clemson that turned Alabama in.

Do we think Tennessee is going to be good next year regardless coach? I bleed orange and I want the best for Tennessee and I think Pruitt could be good if we give him time.

I agree with Sat330pmAppt. 6 - 6 next year for any coach is a tough, tough go.

There is still a lot of talk about Butch correcting the rooster issues. I don't think that's the case. He got 4 - 5 lights out players in a single class that made the rooster look really good short term. Long term, we aren't a lot different than the Dooley squad Butch inherited.

A good skill player in John Kelly, a dominant lineman in Trey Smith, a talented linebacker with injury problems, some OK DB's, some OK WR's, question marks at QB, no depth at D-line, and an empty cupboard at O line. Throw that up against a tough schedule that whipped us last year. A worse year is a very real possibility.

We just watched Alabama's last DC win the conference and go the rose bowl to play in the playoffs.

Why do you expect Pruitt to not even be able to go 6-6?

If we'd have had a half way decent Offense we would have won 3 more games this year-- Florida, Kentucky and SC. It won't take much for us to win again.

It will take Pruitt a couple years to get his players. But he is a good recruiter. You build a good defense and you can compete. That being said we do play Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, and S. Carolina in a row next year. I just don't see how the SEC can keep doing this to us. Nobody else playes that many good teams in a row.

Either hire him by 11:45 tonight or wait til Friday! Our last Pearl Harbor Day signed Coach didn't turn out so well (Butch).
