I see that it is now available and wanted to know if anyone has played a demo or got the game over here. I have a few on my friends lis that are already playing it. It looks pretty awesome, I just wonder how the gameplay and online play stand up to GOW.

I saw that Slowelk was online with it last pm. He runs with Larkin some on GOW. I thought that Larkin might have it.

I played the original demo they released several months back. I've heard it's better now and that was truely an earlier build lacking a lot. At the time, I was unimpressed other than the snow effects looked cool.

I haven't tried the online MP yet. Supposedly that is a better representation of the game.

If I didn't have CoD3 and RS:Vegas still sitting there waiting for me to start, I might have considered LP. As it stands, I'll wait until I hear it's a must have or rent it in the future to check it out.

Unless you plan to play the online stuff a bunch, it looks like a great rental. I would imagine you can finish the game in 10-15 hours.

I'm going to get it when I finish Crackdown.

Crackdown is a blast. It's seriously great fun once you get into it for a half hour and realize what's going on. Most people are really enjoying it. Some of the weapons are a blast when you get powered up and have a 40 foot blast radius on your rocket launcher. Picking up cars and hurling them is cool.

This game surprised me. One of the best games I've played in awhile. Might have lasting appeal, but it's fun while it lasts.

I will say this though, once you beat it you're probably done for the most part. It's going to be a great 10-15 hours for most to finish it, maybe more if they like exploring and doing all the races.

I think it's a great rental. Glad I didn't buy it. I just don't normally play through games again and the multi-player is limited.

Once you level up a couple times, you can pick up the cars and throw them around.

me and a friend rented Lost Planet...i wasnt very impressed...it was just an average 3rd person shooter and the concept of havin to keep your T-energy stocked was annoying
