My wife is moving me to north Alabama. This is where she is from. The mountain we will be living on is mostly Bama fans. I have converted her and met about three other Vol fans. I just can't help feeling like I need worry about pitch folks and torches. Help Volnation I'm so scared.

I have lived in north alabama for close to 20 years and it is the most Vol friendly place in the state. No worries.

Very true. I'm going to school in Florence, and theirs actually quite a few Vol fans here in The Shoals.

I think you could get lost in big city like that as a vol fan. They don't have anything to do on Sand Mtn. I'm still scared. Thanks for the support.

Is this Sand Mtn? If so, I would worry more about inbred rednecks than I would Bama fans....check that, they are one in the same.

Basic rule of thumb is 1 out of 5 Bammers will be a real problem, at least that's my experience. My advice to you is to not meet more than 4...

BTW, I wouldn't care if we went 0fer for the rest of any season, as long as we kick the s--- out of the Bammers every year. Then again, I'm pulling for a tornado this weekend in Bryant Denny.

Part of Sand Mtn is in Ga so depending what part you are moving to you will have UGA ,Bama , Auburn , and TENNESSEE fans . Take it from someone who lives about 4 miles from the bama line and can look out my front door and can see Sand Mtn . In this area the UT fans and Auburn fans gets along pretty good because we hate bama about the same . And UGA fan are just that UGA fans ! The Bama fans act like they have always been on top and that was never where we are at right now...

Where you moving to? I live in Geraldine. Its was not real bad 3 years ago, but now every bandwagon crappabama fan has crawled out of the woodwork. Thankfully most of the folks I personally congregate with are Barners. They are not that bad.

Fyffe here. Grew up close to Flat Rock in Pisgah.

Grew up in Fort Payne and definitely agree with the above poster saying Auburn and Tennessee fans get along pretty well since we both dislike (hate) Bama. Most of them didn't go to school there and a lot have never been to a game. It is a pretty part of the state just not my cup of tea.
