Lost a little respect for Peyton

Wasn't his fault that S.Payton called for an onside kick and Hank Baskett whiffs on a ball kicked directly to him.

You're correct. It's her fault...........

He was too angry to shake hands! Losing the super bowl when you are favored can make you very mad!!

Because the Saints beat the RAMS by 5 points and the Colts clobbered them. Because the Saints needed an onside kick in the third quarter to keep the ball away from Manning. Because the only good reasons that they won are because Peyton was intercepted and the Saints scored after that onside kick. The Saints are alright, but they relied on trick plays and luck to win that one.

Uh, I was pulling for the Colts but didn't watch the same game you did. Last 3 quarters, it was Saints 31-7. I don't think there's enough trick plays and luck to spin this any other way except the best team won last night.

He was pissed. He single handidly cost the colts the game. What do you expect?

You must not have watched the game. How can you say he singlehandedly lost the game. If you watch the replay, Wayne never made his break and just stopped. If not for some dropped passes and the botched on-side kick recovery, the game could have easily gone the other way. If Manning was not on the team, they may not have won a game all year.:banghead2:

Saints won , the made some very aggressive calls starting with the going for it on 4th down instead of kicking the FG. Peyton said after the game in is presser that he will call and congratulate Brees. Said after the game that he knew from personal experience that he needed to get off the field because everything would be set up for the Saints and they deserved their time.

Except for the onsides kick and bad break on the pick six, the colts outplayed the saints.

Im not going to argue any of this anymore. In the end, its impossible to convince someone else of what they think they saw is actually something else.

The argument can however be ended though.

Dear frank,

Scoreboard.

NOLA.

I know I'm gonna get killed for this but the critics were right...Peyton cannot win the big one.
Yes he did win one Super Bowl but how many times did he lose to the Patriots, and the Chargers, Florida and not to mention one win against Memphis and we'd be playing for the NC most likely...
The game against the Bears was an easy game...I don't think he would pull what Eli did when he won the Super Bowl against the Patriots.
The guy is a great QB but he chokes in the post season...yesterday showed that. Unfortunately because it was heartbreaking realizing that.
IDIOT!

If that had been Brady that stormed off the field a refuse to shake hands with the Colts and Peyton

He would be ripped on here!

Just because I am a UT fan..dosnt mean I will not point out bad sportsmanship.
Already happened. I can't recall if it was the SB 2 years ago or the 2006 AFC Championship that he lost to the Colts, but Brady left the field without shaking hands with the opposing QB.

Whichever Manning it was later said that Brady congratulated them later on outside the lockerroom.

All this crap with not shaking hands with any athlete is way over done. Who cares? I really doubt that Brees cared that Peyton didn't get to him after the game.

It is sort of like someone beating you out for a promotion. Are you going to go shake that guys hand and tell him congratulations?

I love the cant win the big one comment, if he would have lost in the AFC championship game that would have been the big one he couldn't win but he won that so because he lost the SB that was the big one. It is always the last game you lost that people always think was the big one. Now the SB is the biggest and he has won one, and that matters. Manning is a great QB.

Did anybody else think that wasn't the best route by Reggie Wayne?

I think RW knew he was the #2 option on that pass and dogged it.

And the last pass he could have caught near the end zone. He alligator armed it. Big time.

Wideouts.

Whoever created this group should be banned from posting on here ever again.

Sportsmanship is the dumbest thing that has happened in sports. When I lose a game, I don't want to go shake my opponents hand, especially if it was in a championship game. Screw it. They have just won something that you wanted so why would you, the loser, want to congratulate them? To whoever created this group: don't post something this dumb and idiotic on here again or the VolNation will come down on you!!!

He stormed off the field with seconds left and refused to shake hands with Brees or any of the Saints players!

Poor sportsmanship!!! And Classless!!!

Dear Moron,
Next time you're in Neyland for a game I'd like you to stand up, turn around, and announce what you wrote here to everyone sitting behind you and see what their thoughts are on the matter. I'm hoping you'll be sitting in or near my section so I can watch you get thrown down the stairs.

Sincerely,
Go To Hell
