and Sirmon is a much bigger deal than you Dool-Aid drinkers want to admit to, but you're going to figure it out soon.

You have been yapping for two days about how Steele is a football God....he just gave up 70 to a ****ty WVU team, and it's not over.

Better hope Precious can get Shannon, or it could be bad news for the defense.

Refresh my memory. Who is the coach that hired Justin Wilcox and Peter Sirmon? I think it is also the same coach that hired Jay Graham. Good coaches hire good assistant coaches, so by complimenting wilcox and sirmon your are effectively complimenting dooley. He has made a good defensive coordinator hire the first time, we currently have no reason to believe that he can not due it again.

I don't know why most of Volnation has been high on Steele in the first place. Yes, losing Wilcox and Sirmon was huge. UT needs a homerun hire for DC and LB coaches. I don't see Steele as a homerun hire regardless of the Orange Bowl outcome!

What I mean is that he doesn't have 3 years to wet the bed and have excuses for it. He needs to make a good hire and hope he can get it all together in the short amount of practices with spring and fall camp.

I agree. The DC hire will make or break Dooley!

I'm not a Steele fan, but why is Shannon such a good hire?

I'm by no means an "expert" but I'm pretty sure he knows this.

Well he said that about the run game last year and he quit pretty quickly on that.

The orange pants mesmerize some of you....take a step back and look without the orange tinted glasses. It's not 98 anymore.

Recruiting ties to Florida and had consistantly top tier defenses while being the DC at Miami. He's a great hire.

To be fair Steele was top 20 first two years in scoring defense at Clemson. Coaching decisions are not based on one game or one season.

This statement speaks volumes regarding your inteligence.. I will never again take anything you post seriously..

Really? I'm the dumb one? Why don't you check that game versus Syracuse they had, or the home loss to Louisville.

Then again, you're the one who can't even spell intelligence. Nice try!

I'm busted.. something about a coach wearing a nice pair of slacks gets me every time. I completely look past everything else.
