As I watched the game tonight I saw our defense play like they had absolutely no chance in stopping Vandy. We have given almost 2,000 yds of offense in 3 games. That's right! 2,000 yards and 118 points. WOW! Alabama probably hasn't given up 2,000 yds this year. I know injuries happen but. What happened? Have our coaches checked out or have our players lost faith in coaching staff?

I will always support our Vols but these coaches need to come up with more than 1 liners and keep these guys focused and put them in a place to win. Not kicking a FG at the end was horrible team management. Until we fork out some money and get serious about this program this is what we will have. Mediocre mid level play. Pray for our Vols and and continue to have faith. Sorry Volnation! I had to rant.

AL (through 11 games), had given up 2779 yards and 125 points. TN gave up 1947 yards and 118 points in our last 3 games.

Edit: AL has given up 2961 yards and 137 points total for all 12 games. TN has given up 5522 yards and 351 points in our 12 games.

For a comparison of how bad the last three games were: If you took the stats from the last three games and extrapolated across 12 games, then we would have given up 7788 yards and 472 points.

go crawl in a hole , your never right

Could make room in yours? Christ. A horrible USC team killed our chances to Atlanta, a horrible Vandy team killed the Sugar.

And this is as good as it gets with him.

Faith was lost against USCe, this just removed any and all doubt that Butch won't get it done.

This salt will last well into next season if not longer! I've been bitter since we let a App State take us to OT. So tired of thinking "maybe next year"!

I lost faith after Oklahoma and Florida. This year the lack of discipline has been a telling sign. We need him gone before the program is set back more.

But wait....but wait......we lost our two backup DTs in games 7 and 8......everybody who's a REAL FAN knows we only gave up all those yards due to those injuries. We clearly can't make any kind of judgment about Shoop and Butch this year.

It's just not fair I tell ya.....I'd give em both at least until 2024.
