I check Volnation from my phone using the Tapatalk app and when I login, the first screen that pulls up is a list of the most recent threads with posts not one of the individual forums like Recruiting or Football.

Depending on how you access the site, the threads aren't always in the same order as you or I might see them. Since he's obviously a Vol fan I'd give him the benefit of doubt and assume that the OP didn't see the decommitment thread beforehand.
