I wouldn't be surprised if Waggner was your starting safety, unless he was somehow involved in the brawl.

This could be a blessing in disguise for us and pain for the rest of the SEC. Kneel Before Rod!

If Rogers was the player that assaulted the campus officer, he will be expelled from the University of Tennessee.

Doubtful. Unless there is already some prior trouble from him in short time on campus. Might be able to plead the charges down IF he has not been in trouble before. Purely speculative at this point.

The "campus officer" was off duty. He can't just go jumping it to fights and then after he gets smacked claim the cloak of protection as a Police officer. How was anyone there suposed to know he was an officer.

While I agree with that, the thug life mentality needs to be squashed. The guy probably got a whoopin he deserved, but it should have never happened.

Rumors I am hearing

1. It was Myles who assaulted the plainclothes - he'll be done
2. The off duty was a patron at the bar. Was he drinking himself?
3. Biggest rumor of all so far. The off duty drew his sidearm and that's when he got put down. Even if he identified himself, in the middle of a brawl no one would have heard him, people turn and see a dude pull a gun? I hope he is ok.

I know we don't know exactly what happened yet, one of them could have been pulled into the fight and then the rest as teammates jumped in to get the others back but my gut tells me this was kids getting jacked up over something stupid and that they are all idiots for getting involved...what the hell are they thinking...why do we keep getting these douche bag kids who are thug? I am sick of it.

We need to slow down a bit until we really know what happened. Just because you get in a fight at some point doesn't make one a thug. I know I've been in a fight or two in my life (in college too, when I was 18 coincidentally) and I really couldn't be less of a thug. And if I am, I am the least hard thug ever, but at least my street cred just went up. Let's just wait and see, and if worse comes to worse, we still got Rod.

There are no excuses for what seemingly took place.. If proven to be true, any and I mean any vol football player needs to be booted from the team ... Please stop making excuses for these thugs...
