Looks Like Our QB Nunes Isn't Coming....

Secondly, why does it matter so much to nunes that his mommy and daddy have to fly all those miles to see him play every game in person. Give me a break... pretty selfish if you ask me. I would say the majority of players go the entire season without ever seeing their parents period. what a joke. If we were 4-0 and knoxville was anywhere close to as a good a fit as nunes made it out to be then he would still be committed, and would have told his parents they would just have to watch from home. Even if he told the coaches before the UF game about the troubles, all that was needed was the offensive trainwreck of a game in UCLA for a negative thoughts to creep in. The distance is a slight issue for Nunes but mainly an excuse that could have been easily overcome IMO. Especially for the chance to play in the SEC. Marlon Brown will commit to UT eventually and Nunes will fill like a traitor and an idiot because he wont ever have the chance to throw to Brown/stokes duo in Stanford.

You know what, Nunes and prunes rhymes,
is that irony or what?

Nothing fills like prunes and I don't care what you say about Sanford and son, they ran a good junk yard, train wreck or not.

"I have changed my commitment from Tennessee to Stanford University," Nunes said in an e-mail to media. "I want to say that I feel that any quarterback at the University of Tennessee will be lucky to play with the current players, coaches and recruits. I had a great experience throughout my recruitment with the Tennessee program. I would like to apologize to the University of Tennessee as I had mistakenly thought that I would not have an opportunity to play at Stanford."

Opportunity to play at Stanford >>> opportunity to play at Tennessee.

How lacking in reading comprehension can one be??

He is basically saying he has a greater opportunity of playing QB at Stanford than he does of playing QB at Tennessee.

And there is no point in slamming the door in his face either, he may decide later on he would rather try to be the starter at UT.

Just exactly what is your main gripe anyway???

You might want to try reading that again when your Blood Alcohol Content is a little lower.

gsvol, you know exactly what i meant. it was a typo. I'm sorry not all of us have useless english degrees. You're that guy who goes back to school when he's like 40 to get your third degree and a doctorate in something completely useless. congrats...You're also probably an alchoholic so go enlighten some folks at an AA meeting with your garbage posts b/c I think I speak for everyone in saying NO ONE CARES ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY. Meanwhile, some of us are actually trying to voice our opinions that are based on Vols football. So please, do us all favor and go to a poetry forum or something where people might actually care to read your crap. thanks
