Looks Like Our QB Nunes Isn't Coming....

Crompton looks like Helen Keller on the field...... and Fulmer and chavis are just too FAT to be coaching anything except maybe a Sumo team

i just heard the other day that brown dropped usc from his list. if hell freezes over and brown pics tennessee will nunes come??? i heard they are good friends and talk alot.

No, Stanford is Nunes dream school. Even though they are a mid-lower tier Pac-10 school.

What he said:
Nunes, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound senior at Upland (Calif.) High School, said in an e-mail "I want to say that I feel that any quarterback at the University of Tennessee will be lucky to play with the current players, coaches, and recruits. :eek:lol:

What he was trying to say:
"I feel that any quarterback at the University of Tennessee will be need a lot of luck to play for the current coaches. He's certainly not going to develop any skills or have any success under Fulmer's leadership." :crossfingers: :banghead2: :mf_surrender:

according to scout.com they had crompton pos rank #3 and pos rated 5 stars.
they have nunes pos rank#16 and pos rating at 4 stars.

he probably sucks worse then crompton. We need a leader and a QB who dosen't have ADD.

that doesnt make any difference.... erik ainge was ranked the #26 qb in the nation and a 3 star prospect on scout.com and he led us to the sec championship game his senior year... crompton just sucks but the ranking makes no difference. nunes could be the next peyton manning.

Awesome inference. I'm sure you're right.

yeah they said on the radio he is committed to Standford now...nice job Phil

You're saying that it's uncommon that kids sometimes change their minds? Especially when they make rash decisions with little more than phone calls to base them on?

you mean to tell me that this kid just up and changed his mind...and the state this program is in had nothing to do with it? Please, thats being pretty nieve

First off Gsvol, stop posting because I and assuming most everyone else does not read your posts because they don't make sense or constribute anything. save your time and go the read a reference book or something since you think you're so smart. geez..

Secondly, why does it matter so much to nunes that his mommy and daddy have to fly all those miles to see him play every game in person. Give me a break... pretty selfish if you ask me. I would say the majority of players go the entire season without ever seeing their parents period. what a joke. If we were 4-0 and knoxville was anywhere close to as a good a fit as nunes made it out to be then he would still be committed, and would have told his parents they would just have to watch from home. Even if he told the coaches before the UF game about the troubles, all that was needed was the offensive trainwreck of a game in UCLA for a negative thoughts to creep in. The distance is a slight issue for Nunes but mainly an excuse that could have been easily overcome IMO. Especially for the chance to play in the SEC. Marlon Brown will commit to UT eventually and Nunes will fill like a traitor and an idiot because he wont ever have the chance to throw to Brown/stokes duo in Stanford.

Up your nose with a rubber hose.

I advise you eet mor prunes, then maybe you could constribute mor!

Reference that brainwave.

"I have changed my commitment from Tennessee to Stanford University," Nunes said in an e-mail to media. "I want to say that I feel that any quarterback at the University of Tennessee will be lucky to play with the current players, coaches and recruits. I had a great experience throughout my recruitment with the Tennessee program. I would like to apologize to the University of Tennessee as I had mistakenly thought that I would not have an opportunity to play at Stanford."

Opportunity to play at Stanford >>> opportunity to play at Tennessee.
