Lets see, round 1 of the tourney there was a silk the shaka wanted thread and then the Morehead coach and now heading into the sweet 16 Butlers coach is the flavor of the day.anybody want to name the coach that will be on the list by monday ?

I hear you, but after barely losing to Duke in the NC game last year, and just taking out a #1 seed in the 2nd round this year, I'd say the guy is not really in the same class as the Morehead State Coach.

But seriously, I think a lot of people made a run at him last year and he decided to stay @ Butler. Unless something has changed we'll have to look elsewhere.

Word in indy is he would only leave butler for 2 jobs.....IU and ND. I think he turned down Oregon last year....I'm sure that wasn't chump change.

I am from TN and love the vols but i did go to iu....I'd love to see him in btown.

Stevens grew up around Indianapolis and his family is still there. His wife is from Louisville. He's had chances to go to bigger schools but has chosen to stay near family. Don't think he's a possibility.

I think what he is trying to tell you is that if you have some kind of question....any question....you can google it, this also applies to your comment I have quoted above.

I don't know if it is funny that you didn't get it or sad

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but does anyone know how much he makes at Butler?

If CBP goes then he'd be my first choice. He's now 8 - 3 in the NCAA tournament. TIA.

He made about $250K in 2009-2010. After taking Butler to the NCAA finals last season, he turned down some $1.5 million offers and signed a new deal with Butler for $750K.

Brad Stevens would be a great fit at UT and would be able to keep the level of play up at UT.

Addendum- I see he makes much more than this.

I don't know but watching the end of that game reminded me of the ending of a couple of our games last football season. Pitt playing the role of us! Is the butler coach related to less miles? Just sayn'

...... that dude shouldn't of fouled butlers guy. He even admitted that he wasn't thinking. Don't compare that to UT having a coaching mistake having 13 on the field
