Looking for vol fans around Dallas

I am a travel nurse in the Dallas area looking for a place to gather with other BIG ORANGE fans to watch (and celebrate) this amazing season. It would feel like home to have 25-30 vol fans show up at a local sports bar/restaurant. I spent last season in St. Thomas, and while I did run into the occasional vol fan, most locals didn't even watch football.

Find the local alumni chapter. I looked it up not long ago for a friend of mine who just moved to Dallas. Seems like they watched games at a wing place in Plano, but I can't remember exactly.

We used to have a group of the alumni chapter that gathered at a place called Third Base sports bar in Frisco for every game, they even had a Tennessee flag that hung on the wall there for them. That place has since changed names and I don't know if they will still be gathering there or not. I went once and there were probably 30-40 of us there. I live in Hurst so that was a bit too far for an every Saturday drive for me. If anyone knows of something closer to Ft Worth I'd be interested too.

OP - What hospital are you at? I'm at UT(exas) Southwestern.

I enjoyed going to Wild Pitch in Frisco by the mall but there was some sort of conflict.

The one time i went to Pluckers after it changed last year was less than desirable unfortunately. Hopefully it will be better this year!

Yes, Plucker's is not desirable. They have us on an enclosed patio and it seems loud because of the masonry walls. I wish we would go back to Wild Pitch.

I work in Fort Worth and it would be nice if we could get all the Fort Worth area VOL fans together in one location for games.

Arlington isn't too far from where I live. If anyone living in Tarrant county wants to start a group to watch the games I'd be in! Maybe north Arlington area or mid cities? I have a couple ideas for places to go. I don't have enough posts to start a thread but if someone wants to start one I think we could get some traction with all the Tarrant count Vol fans!

Conflict at Wild Pitch should have been child endangerment charges! Some of those girls are in high school!

I live in Frisco but I try to stay away from bars and drunks when watching my Vols :):). I just get comfortable in front of my large flat screen.

Sounds like pluckers has a fan base already started. I've never been there and don't really care where it is. I just think it would be nice to show up in force. Especially for the big ones Florida and bama. What do you think about pluckers?
