Losing seniors and early draft guys is tough but I know it's part of it. Thinking ahead, what's your opinion on our offense next season? Starting 11? Also, any recruits make immediate impact?

I honestly don't think it'll be as horrible as most here are predicting. There's not gonna be the hype of this year, but we'll have a good team.

I think the offense will be fine. It's the defense that concerns me more going into next season. The DB's and LB's need to play better, or maybe a change in position coach is needed in those areas

Our defense will be be better next season than now we ended this season simply because our DTs will be healthy. Unfortunately they will probably just get injured again since we aren't looking to fix the problem.

What do you mean by, "we aren't looking to fix the problem?"

I agree. We are going to have a solid team, and the lack of preseason hype might just be a good thing.

I hate to bash a player, but do we have anyone to challenge Medley on FG's?

Tonight seems like the only meaningful FG of over 30 yrds he's made in the past 2 years.

Replace McDowell with Jumper. Colton played light years beyond Cortez. Check the stats.

Not having the hype might be the biggest positive, if the jids can.just go perform. Tennessee "hype" has become a national punchline bigger than CBJ press conferences.

I think we will be okay, but losing Dobbs could be very painful.

Honestly, I don't see the talent or the depth at DT and in the secondary. Doubt Tuttle will be ready by the start of the season. We have talent at QB but live experience is lacking. I see 7 wins as being the ceiling next year given the schedule.

Depends on QB play. If and that is a great big if, one of the QB's balls out, this team could surprise a lot of people.

People need to understand we have a team that is LOADED with juniors and seniors next year.

The QB will be the only real new guy in the starting lineup, and he'll be surrounded by upperclassmen at every turn.

The talent is there and the system is good on offense and defense. Need better coaching to get that talent playing more disciplined and consistent and some better luck with injuries. Hiring some good coaches could really make team 121 the contender that nobody outside of Tennessee will expect. Winning the East will be very attainable.

Dont think you are allowed to say winning the east is attainable. Historically we havent won the east. :)

Exactly, QB play will dictate the 1st half of the season,.. Defenses will load the box to force passing

Not too worried about the offense as much, but the defense may have a tough year. We get some DTs back but the lack of physicality and being injury prone seems to be a problem with CBJ's defenses.

The DBs and LBs looked bad from start to finish this year. I didn't see some improvement like I hoped. Tkjr took a step back, as did the rest of the DBs. Neb was able to pass the ball on our D in the 2nd half despite their starting qb and one of their best wrs being injured.

I'm happy the offense and Barnett are going out with a win. The future does look bright for the offense and players leaving for the NFL. I do think uga will be the east favorite next year. They got some really good players coming back.

I agree with that. No hype going into next year will be a good thing

Poor Dormady just doesn't have a chance with some of you guys, Also, I can't believe that's the starting CB's next year. Those 2 repeatedly got burned.
