Auburn runs the most elementary offense i have ever seen. Trick play after trick play gimmick after gimmick. You never know who has the ball and whats going on. They are very bushleauge and that wont work for long

That's they're philosophy " Get yards by any means necessary". I mean it works. I woudn't mind having that freshman McCaleb playing for us this year. Kinda funny how speed evens the playing field.

Bush league... Middle school... Who cares, it worked. Saying it won't work in the future is just sour grapes unfortunately.

If you think that offense looked like a middle school team, what did our offense look like, imagine if we had our defense with that middle school offense. I don't care who they have played they are 5-0 with that offense. We haven't mastered the qb exchange with a 5th year senior. So, I think I will take the middle school team over the pee-wee team.

Oh yeah, and Meyer's spread offense will never work in the SEC.

It was effective at spreading us out and they got the win. Eventually defenses will catch up with it. Just like eventually they'll catch up with Urban's spread, but for now it's working and it got them a win, i can't knock it.

Gus Malzahn will be leaving AU and taking his playbook to a HC position. Wherever he has gone his offense has been top 5 in the country in total yards and scoring.

Elementary def. doesn't come to mind when I think of Auburn's offense. Very fast and very very sneaky sir.

I personally thought Auburns offense was impressive. Their QB, while not the best, made some very nice plays under pressure. I can see why someone would say that it's bush league and elementary. However, when executed well, that is a very tough offense for a defense like ours to stop. You have to tip your hat to how Auburn executed and kept our defense guessing. It must be nice when your team has an offense that you enjoy seeing taking the field. That's more than we can say at this point.

Actually he did stop your offense its our offense that sucks and lost us the game. This game was still tubby vs foolmer. When cheezit doesnt have tubbys players he's doomed.

well it worked at Arkansas while Malzhan was there
and 2 years at Tulsa, and now Auburn's undefeated, and Malzhan hasn't even recruited players for the offense..

LOL....Yeah, considering he is recruiting better than Tubs ever thought about recruting...And let's see....We had almost 500 yards of offense....I wouldn't call that stopping it....In the first half, we had like 260 something yards....so don't know what you seen to think that he stopped it....

Go back and read the post before the game!!! Everybody said our high school coach would be shut down with your veteran Defensive Coord.......So don't try to change it now and act like you knew our offense was going to have that much success against that mighty D!!!! So yes, I am proud anytime our offense moves the ball....No matter who it is against!

There were some great overhead replays shown last night. The blocking schemes in the OL for AU were fairly impressive - no rzzle dazzle in that. AU was turning our DL inside out, literally. Over and over. My son could've run through those holes.

To me, that offense works because the real studs on the field are the AU OL. Tate, is a helluva TB too. How many times did we see 3-4 vols trying to take him down?

Hey A**hole, this is a UT board. What do you expect? Most every post in this thread was complementing your offense and OC. You won, now show a little dignity and move along.

Aubie- Lets not forget that your "O" was put in place last year, and it showed with the execution. We got beat by a team with more talent, nothing more nothing less.

I never made fun of a team just after they whipped our ass. Just don't have the stomach to do it.

I was not talking to the people who was complimenting it....Just because I make a post on here, doesn't mean it goes to the whole fan base, it goes to the people who are making excuses and who just flat our are in denial.....I will now be leaving your board since you wanted to result to name calling which shows your class!!! Enjoy the rest of the season!

Auburn has little talent on offense and has to use a lot of tricks to get any yards.
