inwardly since it was BAMA, I secretly from my arm chair gave him about 1000% support. I know it was classless, yes there should be consequences like running steps etc., BUT inwardly I want my defensive players to have heart, be crude, and cruel. I am an even larger fan of Gaulden's this morning. There is literally nothing short of drawing blood or death that Bammer deserves the 3rd Saturday of October in my book. Flame away and go Gaulden, GBO!!!

Thanls for starting a thread to dicuss this, since it really needs to be discussed.

It was stupid. It made the team look stupid. It made him look stupid. We were getting the crap beat out of us. We made one good play for an entire game and our solition is to flip off fans. We are a pathetic football team that is not fun tp watch so we resort to stupid antics like this.

Gaulden’s a good kid who got caught up in the moment and let his emotions get the best of him. He didn’t do anything 90% of all Vol fans do in their heads when they see a Bama fan on the street.

Does anybody remember Scarborough flipping Tennessee fans off in the South End Zone last year when he scored?

So did you admire Hatari Byrd then?

As I stated last night, stupid and classless move.

I understand why he did it and I don't dislike him for it.

It was good to see his post-game comment.

How you handle a mistake usually tells more about your character than the mistake itself.

Good grief some of you should worry about important things like who the hell is going to coach our team. The holier than thou crowd need to get a grip.

Yeah, nothing says I have more class or smarts than you than doing that, DOWN 28 points. It showed lack of intelligence, class, and discipline. Made everyone look bad and stupid, everyone is making fun of him and UT bc of it, getting your tail whipped just adds the poking fun part.

Here is the kicker, I thought it was impossible to have less class than Alabama or their fans, how is it possible to have less than Alabama? A new low

Spike the ball, take your helmet off, whatever. But flipping off the fans? Really? Stupid. Now they not only beat our butts but also have the moral high ground. Yuck.

The timing was just perfect, I suppose is the point -- just after a defensive td on a pick from a freshman backup qb (who just moments later burned you over and over), and 1 week off of a SC loss with zero touchdowns and 2 weeks after a 41-0 home beating from GA. Right.

Holier than thou? When Byrd did it to our fans, people lost their minds here. Were they being holier than thou?

In his presser he discussed "his parents didn't raise him like that".... Well he just embarrassed himself, his parents, his Coach and the University you say you support.
He should have to sit for some time to consider his actions. I would kick him off the team, but that's just me.

Everybody seems to have forgotten Scarborough last year when he scored here.
