Speaking of dinosaurs, anyone dusted the trophy case on the hill lately?

Really? Our National Championship trophy has much less dust on it than yours.
Granted you are in position to compete for one this year but no sense in counting it before the game is even played...........oh wait I forgot, you're got twelve, probably claim two more after this season.
I was referring to the one we added last Saturday.

You understand that it is a review and NOT an investigation, correct? Well...obviously not, but hey!...please do not allow the facts to become a distraction for you! Keep on a 'roll'ing...
The N.C.A.A. is conducting a wide-ranging investigation into the University of TennesseeÂ’s football recruiting practices, according to interviews with several prospects, their family members and high school administrators.
Thats the article. The NCAA stated, as well as the UT AD, that it was a REVIEW. In case you missed the TRUTH
Care to look up the more recent article where they state it is a review.
This is the very reason so many believe this is a hit piece, when an investigation is underway by the NCAA a letter is delivered to the university letting them know formally. None has been forthcoming yet, so this is just a review. Much like the NYT you ned to get the story straight and at the very least be informed.
My apologies for a mistaken word choice, the point I was making is that just because the NCAA is "reviewing" something that has allegedly happened at Tennessee does NOT mean the rest of the SEC is "scared" of Tennessee. I personally think it's a lot of crock what they are "reviewing" and think its nothing more than something blown outta proportion. But to say that the rest of the SEC caused this for Tennessee and it was because they were "scared" is a little pretentious and downright false.
This just in,Tennessee feels unloved by all of their SEC brethren.
Do to the now ongoing NCAA investigation, Kiffin has declared this years winner of the Chick fil A Bowl, national champions.
:birgits_giggle:
I agree, the SEC as a conference has nothing to do with this investigation, I do think there is a possibility that a certain element or two within the conference may have had some hand in it though. We will probably never know for sure but there does look like there is some reason to believe that Meyer may have some part to play in this, at least on the surface it looks possible.
Yeah, but coaches tattling on each other doesn't seem like something new IMO. With Kiffin's little rants sometimes, can you blame him? :birgits_giggle: Meyer might be a little butt-hurt from Kiffin's comment on Bama having the coaching edge over Florida. But like you said, we'll never know what started this. Whether it really was a player reporting to his AD or if Meyer or Saban or Spurrier (my money would be on Spurrier) caught wind of it and slipped it to the good ol' NCAA.
