i now think that lane kiffin is the antichrist. with that being said, I believe we made a good hire. If we as fans and supporters of this great university will be patient with the new staff i believe things will work out.

Thanks LaTechBulldog. There is no bigger Vol Fan than I am. I hate all the negative sh.t being posted by some of my fellow Vols Fans. I just wanted you to know that some of us are positive and appreciative of the information. I have been researching since CDD was hired and I am very impressed with all the positive things I have found out. Oh ya by the way the win vs loss record at LaTech is not a bad thing. If you are more interested in playing big named schools for the money to build your program and not worring so much about your record shows he was building something for the future. GO CDD! GO VOLS! :dance2:

You normally post good suff but you need to relax. The guy was not insulting anyone. He is a fan of Dooley and since Dooley is here now, will be a fan of the Vols.

I bet you were not a fan of the Colts until Peyton was drafted there! I can honestly say I have been and always been a Steeler fan but I pull for the Colts everytime since Peyton's arrival. I think if you check the guy's posts, you will see he is genuine and a good guy.

Dont read into the haters on here, the only way they win an argument here is IF AND ONLY IF the argument turns to - whoever has the most collectible KFC Dale Earnhardt Jr Buckets on display at their homes. If it turns there, then the competition is incredible.

With that being said, welcome here, were always ready to have a new supporter of the big orange nation.

I read somewhere that Muschamp encouraged Hamilton to go after Dooley when he turned us down. Enough with the "screw this person, that person, etc" attitude. How about we all just be positive, get behind Dooley and have some class, like our new coach has. I for one am FIRED UP. I think we found a diamond in the rough.

When kiffin was hired everyone around the league didn't like him but we did and we see where that got us. Now everyone around the league is praising our new HC and we've got some here bashing him all over.....wonder who who will be eating crow first

Just the fact that CDD was also an athletic director and the football coach is impressive ! He appears geniune as a person and for his feelings on UT after listening to his introduction on Friday. Really excited that he is our new coach ! And the other coach that left, If I remember he was not excatly UT's first choice the last go around. I had a friend that escorted his wife and was security at a game this year that said he was all buisness and did not seem to LOVE UT and or appreciate all that it had been or was. Oh and does Does Butch Davis ring a bell ? I think he was the coach that everyone was pulling for before Kiff was hired. Go CDD and as alway's GO VOLS !!!

I am aware that jobs at small school programs like La Tech are stepping stones to bigger programs but i was really hoping he would stay at Tech until Miles was canned. Im not disappointed that Dooley was hired as Head coach of UT since i do live in Tennessee and do support our state university but man did I want him to be the head coach of LSU.

UT find a rare gem in Dooley. His history working under Saban and alongside star assistant coaches like Muschamp and Smart solidfy his knowledge and ability to coach and represent the Pride that exumes from the VolNation. Congrats on the new hire.
