COVID Rules
Due to COVID, the NCAA granted players playing 2020
An extra year to play. That means counting a redshirt year
players get 6 years to play 5. If a player never redshirts
his eligibility is over after 5 seasons of activity.
Hopefully, I've calculated everyone appropriately

BOLDED Players are not eligible for the extra COVID year as they entered school in 2021

So Mitchell has not officially stated his intention to transfer? Good info, I thought he was already gone.

Wasn't Da'Jon Terry a sophomore this past year? Hope you're right, but I thought this was his second year playing counting Kansas.

Also, have they clarified the status of super-seniors against the 85 limit?

super seniors has been clear since the COVID year announcement. they said at that time they would count on the 85 beginning in 2022.

Nice catch on Terry. should be a R/JR in 2022 with 3 years left to play. All of those R/JRs should have 3 years left. They have redshirted one year, played 2 years and get 3 more years to satisfy COVID year. Stuff is hard to keep up with.

Juwan Mitchell - He would have to sit out a year to transfer again correct?

edit: had to recalculate the number of years left to play. Had several errors. Updating list and adding explanation at the bottom.

I could have ERRORS. This is just my understanding of where players are currently scheduled to return. I have not removed players that almost all of us feel are very likely gone and not returning. But until they are officially announced I need to keep them on here.

For each players, I've indicated what is year of eligibility is for 2022, how many years has he played or redshirted counting 2022 and how many years he has left that he could play. Obviously, anyone 3 years out of high school at the end of 2022 could take a shot at NFL and the Portal is always an option..

Have not included committed players since they don't count until signed.

So if all of these guys return we would have like 126 players with the incoming class???

We'll just with that list, it's 100 players without the recruiting class. If you take 26-27 more hours pushing 125+
if all these guys return, we will not take all that many with the "incoming class". I'm hearing 26, 27 which includes any transfers.
My bad😭🤣😂 I read it wrong. I saw the 68 players at the top and didn't realize that was the total. So 26-27 would put us at 95 which is pretty good

I’ve read that only seven transfers are allowed but heard there may be a loophole to have eleven. Anyone know? Curious to see how this staff is going to maximize the numbers for this class considering all the remaining spots

you can take transfers as part of your signing class of 25 that are not part of 7. They would be initial counters. So if you sign 20, you can add 5 transfers to reach 25. Then you can up to 7 more transfers IF you have 7 players transfer away from your program in 2021-22. BUT, you have to be sure to stay at 85 or less on the roster.
