So we stand at 14 Quarters without an Offensive TD (can't believe I'm even typing that). Does anyone know what the NCAAF record is? I've tried to find the answer but cannot. We've got to be close...........

Maybe Butch can add another embarrassing record to his resume today! :no:

And on a side note.

Sc*ew you Currie for even giving me pause to want to see Tennessee win a game big. Out of fear you will take it as a sign Butch can get Tennessee to the Birmingham bowl

Sheesh....the fact that we even have to think about it is sad.

But to answer your question, I have no idea. I don't think it would be listed in the NCAA record book. They tend not to focus on futility.

Even my son-in-law, a UGA grad, says its unbelievable and embarrassing. Fans of other teams are now pitying us. I am just "empty" inside....thanks Botch!

I started a similar thread last weekend, wondering if this is the longest drought in UT history. Looking at scores, my guess is at least since before WW2.

Yes most UT fans anger and disgust has turned to apathy. Apathy. I never thought I would live to see UTs fan base apathetic. When your rivals feel sorry for you, you know it's a very bad situation. Instead of kicking us while we are down and out, they feel sorry for us. That's like when the neighborhood bully finally stops picking on you and actually sits down and cries with you.

I was thinking the same thing, &quot;this is embarrassing&quot;, when people I know that are fans of other schools feel sorry for us. Pathetic that we are a laughing stock of college football. Thanks Butch.

What is worse Memphis has best football team in state but vols are not even the second best MTSU would probably beat us

The entire season is the most embarrassing that I can recall and I go way back to the Bill Battle days. It is painful to the inner being of Vol Fans!

Best I could find is either 1909, or 1919. Can’t see the box score. Only the finals.

In 1919 we scored 9 points in 5 games.
In 1909 we scored 11 points the entire season. Including 0 in the first 8 games. If you go back to the end of 1908 then we didn’t score at all in 9 straight!
