The 6-foot-6, 254-pound Brooks, who also missed his junior season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the same knee, said he’s “pretty much able to do everything” after being cleared by his doctor earlier this month.

He said he already has been jogging “since November or December” and running at full speed since March, and he doesn’t expect to be limited during Tennessee’s summer workouts.

“I’m pretty much able to do everything,” said Brooks, who committed to the Vols in January 2015 and never showed signs of wavering on his pledge to Tennessee. “The trainers down at Tennessee just told me to do everything but run routes, of course — just a safety precaution so, when I get down there, they can evaluate me, how I’m doing. Other than that, I’ve been doing pretty much everything else."

Long wait, recovery almost over for Brooks

I really like his attitude . . . he understands you have to earn what you get, nothing is given. I also like his size, at 6'-6" he will be a hand full for LB's and DB's . . .

The title is cut off when you see it in the forums homepage.

I was hoping the same thing when I clicked on it.

Oh! But now you ruined it. It would've been more fun for everyone to think SPV was drunk, or crazy!

well, I guess he still could be drunk or stupid, or both, but that's for another discussion...:)
PS. Guess that's why he fits in well in this forum...

Really praying that this kid's tough times and injuries are behind him...

Seems like a mature young man and wishing him good health for the next several years..

Should come in and be 2nd of the depth chart by Mid Oct

Ahead of Croom or Wolf?

Devante was hurt last year, hasn't played football for a good while, gonna take some time to get up to speed in the SEC. I tend to think it'll be next year before we see him contribute.

No.. low expectation based on career
1. Injury Prone
2. Below average hands
3. New position for SR year

"Injury prone"? And your immediate remedy is a kid who's blown his knee up two straight years?
