How about blaming on Hart....he bit off on a 4 week run that included Fla, Ga, A&M and BAMa. No cupcakes or bye weeks. That's a stupid schedule that Hart let happen on his watch.

We got exposed on Saturday. A true freshman QB destroyed us utterly and completely.

On top of that we learned that two of our marquis wins (Georgia and VT) were actually not that impressive as both teams lost to terrible football teams.

I think the hype train was finally derailed and I think we learned that nother only are our coaches not SEC quality but also we haven't recruited on the scale we needed to or coached the players up as is required in this league.

Barnett was the lone bright spot in an otherwise embarrassing game where we got exposed on offense, defense, special teams, and coaching.

In my opinion as long as Hurts is their QB, we are not breaking the streak against Bama.

I completely agree op. But most on here won't. They'll hurl insults like my second grade son and his friends to to anyone that doesn't agree with them. Butch is a terrible coach. And his greatest attribute has been vastly overrated. The amount of elite talent that tn has produced in the last few cycles along with the legacys has really led to a lot of the recruiting success. But we give him all the credit for it. And a lot of this kids that were so highly touted have left because they don't like the coaches or the system. Butch won't make it here long term. And I think it can all be attributed to one thing...he's a coward. He epitomizes the coaching to not lose cliche.
Hopefully our new ad will bring us what we deserve...an elite coach

Note to self: team must recruit in case of 20+ injuries.

Hurts was terrible in the air but great on the ground. That's largely because we had nothing to offer at linebacker and had to adapt on the fly to losing our tackles. That QB may be a freshman but those linemen are not.

After paying $600 bucks to watch the stadium empty out with 12 minutes to go, yes I'm miserable.

Surely,...surely you didn't pay 6/10ths of a thousand dollars going into that game believing we should win. I mean I hoped, by some miracles (plural ...no, multiple sense there) we would. I certainly had no real expectations of anything other than what happened. I told my wife just before kickoff, after losing count at double digits on the injury report that Bama would "hang half a hundred on us". You've got to be realistic when dealing with injuries. Only a couple to key starters can throw a teams mojo off. Get into double digits and you don't even have the same team and it takes more than five days practice to get really tight with the guys on your left and right.

Can you provide a list of "a lot" of highly touted guys who have left the program? I just like to have sources to check most of the bs that comes from you
