1. Injuries played a role in this game, not to the tune of 49-10, but they played a role.
2. Debord has got to go. Runs up the middle after the 3rd series of the game was asinine to keep attempting.
3. Dobbs misread several reads in this game. Why is he regressing so bad? See #2.
He also cant throw the intermediate ball.
4. Kids still having problems with open space tackling. Also have problems with speed in the secondary. Bo Scarborough had no business taking that back for a long run without a DB able to catch up to him.
5. Our recruiting needs to be top 3 every year as witnessed to what BAMA is able to do. This Bama team is way better than last year or so it appears to be the case for now.
Haven't you heard, though? We are Tennessee. Simply being us we should transcend all logic and win. No exceptions.1. Yes it did or you obviously dont know how bad injuries affect a game.
2. Gameplan? That gameplan worked pretty well against Bama last year, UF, UGA and TAMU this year. 4 starting OL injured throws any gameplan out the window.
3. Dobbs barely had two seconds to throw the ball. Yes he had misreads, mostly because the OL couldnt block a wet paper bag. Again injuries.
4. No Sutton. No JRM. Again injuries.
5. You have a point here.
Long story short, injuries were the major reason for this blowout loss.
Sometimes you just get your butt handed to you. Injuries or not your defense giving up 400 yards on the ground will not win any game.
We got stomped is the truth. On to the next game.
I think the OP has a black belt in masochism.
I mean, if you hate CBJ, the coaching staff and most of the players, and you think they stink, I guess that's cool. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. But how on earth does someone like that shell out $600 for tickets to go watch a team they don't even like in person (totally decimated by injuries, by the way) get curb stomped by a team so good people think they can compete against NFL squads and then act all mad about it? Either you have zero football IQ, a 3-year old's ability to manage your expectations, or you get off on it. Or perhaps all of the above?
Coaching first because that leads to lack of talent. Actually it also leads ton injuries if the players are not conditioned right and are always out of place on the field causing them to put themselves in awkward positions.
