honestly i think he is a better shooter than JJ redick

I agree. He'd be even better if he got the kind of calls some of those other All-American shooters got. I've never seen a player defended harder than Lofton. His defenders play very physical with him and are usually 4 or 5 inches taller. The very fact that he's putting up these type of numbers with that kind of defense proves just how good he really is.

If Lofton played for Duke he would be first team All- America.

JJ couldn't shoot without squaring up. He has to be perfectly square for him to make a three. Chris can shoot it from 40 feet while leaning back like its nothin..

The fact that Lofton can score like he does when we have virtually no inside game outside of Chism and Crews is outstanding.

Pearl said Lofton is probably one of the strongest on the team (I assume he means pound-for-pound) and that his shot begins with his feet going all the way up his body until it gets to his hand for the touch he puts on it. I think that's a good way of describing him. Whether it's from half court or 13 feet away from the basket it looks like he puts the same type of effort into it, which is amazing.
