With Bruce Pearl supposedly coming in as new head coach do you think this will motivate lofton to transfer or stay?

whatever he wants to do I guess....Pearl would have to talk to the players, so that might help

I hope he stays....The next 2 or 3 years for him at UT will be great if he stays....He will be the go to guy when the game is on the line and will more than likely be our star....I wish he would stay but its not up to me its up to him....He'll make the right decision

I think Lofton would fit into Pearl's offense very well since he promotes an uptempo style. It will create good looks in transition for a shooter like Lofton.

I think Chris will like Pearl. Check out this stat....

Their leading scorer took 271 threes last year…….wow. The next guy took 151.....wow again. Chris might be just a touch excited right now

Lofton will definitely be Pearls first test. I think Lofton wants to stay he just wants to make sure he likes the new coach and be assured that he will fit in to this new system.

Lofton will stay put..........Pearl probably has already talked to him...

yeah he will still be here. Pearl will tell him how much he means to the team and he will stay put.

Let's certainly hope that Pearl talks Lofton into staying. We really need him to be here next year. He also needs to keep Tyler Smith in the fold. We have a chance to be pretty decent next year if everybody stays on board. I think Pearl can keep everybody. Who wouldn't want to play the up-tempo style that he brings to the table?

I think that it will interesting who Pearl want to keep on the team. I have my doubts about a couple of them.

He'll keep Bradshaw because he's an excellent defender.....Offense wins games, defense wins championships
