Hmmm... we were recruiting #1 before Pearl got here, weren't we?

Imagine having the top 3 players on that list...

And Buzz Peterson. :birgits_giggle:

but imagine this... we get JP Prince, Brandan Wright, Tyler Smith, Thaddeus Young out of high school and they all return to play this season...

"10. F Patrick Patterson*, Kentucky Wildcats"

I stopped reading here. It's a stretch to call any freshman as top 10 in the SEC, and it's even more of a stretch to call Patterson one.

I think I remember hearing that Wright would have thought hard about coming to UT if BP had been there sooner.

Having Prince mentioned with those other 4 is like adding Wierd Al Yankovic to the Beatles.

I don't know about that, JP complimented Tyler pretty well every time I've seen them play together. Not that they are the same caliber but he looks pretty solid.

My son graduated from Lake Howell with Nick Calathes and Chandler Parsons and they were good friends...I really think that Florida has the opinion that they are coming back for a 3 peat...

i can make a serious case that if we still had buzz peterson that the combo of gordon, tyler smith, and lofton, would be too much for alot of teams.

Then Florida needs to sober up quick.

I don't care if Peterson was coaching Lebron, 'Melo, and Wade. The team wouldn't win.

Chandler lives less than a mile from me and I think that Tennessee was the only college that he made a visit to, and that ended quickly when Florida offered him a scholarship...He and Nick both wanted to go to the Gators badly....I'm not sure any of these young guys relized that the Gators were going to lose all of the starters....I wish them luck, but I told Chandler's Dad that they needed to beware of the Vols this year...Hope that I don't have to eat my words...:tease2:

No offense to Lofton and Tyler, but looking at this list, doesn't it seem that the SEC is down big-time vs. last season? None of the Gators' NC team members, no Big Baby, no Jermareo, no Randolph...the league is replacing most of its stars this season.
