That would explain some things about the last season. I wonder if he would have broken the record if he redshirted, but also would we have gone as far, even with the drop in performance?

This explains a lot about his play this year. Chris, I'm sorry for being critical at all toward you.

This is unbelievable, with what he had to face and endure, I can't believe he played this year. A true testament to what type of young man Lofton is and a true Volunteer.

Wow... Things I never saw coming... I guess just shows how clueless we fans really are to what is happening and why... Glad you made it through Chris! Your a great guy and a great vol!

Chris is a class act. We were very fortunate to have him at Tennessee. I am glad he is ok.

Really. You(as in all of us) just never know what another person is dealing with.

Very true. The thing about Lofton was that we've watched him for so long that no one ever doubted whether he was giving his all for UT. We all just noticed he was a bit off for some reason and this really does explain it. Still what he was able to accomplish this season after that experience is nothing short of amazing IMO.

I can't believe I actually questioned Chris this season. I'll be the first too apologize about any type of negativity I said about him this season. This is truly unbelievable

Its one thing that he beat it.

Its another that he played with it.

What is truly amazing is that as he took all that criticism and grief from people about how off his game was this year, he never said a thing.

That, my friends, is pure character.
