I am so tired of seeing TN players at other colleges doing great things! Seeing Tyrel Dodson have a pick six for Texas A&M makes me sick. Can we PLEASE lock down the state like we did in the 90's for the most part? I hope Pruitt and company will lock down TN and poach from FL, GA, NC, and SC a ton!!!

I want to as well, but when you are the 3rd best team in Tennessee, it's kind of hard to.

Before we locked down the state in the 90s, we owned the state in the 80s, and even in the 70s, we were the dominant team in Tennessee.

We are at our lowest point. It's going to take time. How do you eat an elephant, one bite at a time.

Ok, I mean lock down the state for the most part. I agree. UT will never get them all. There is probably close to a 500 people a month moving into this state from other places. By locking down the state, I mean UT gets the vast majority. I would be ecstatic with 66%!!! =)

UT won a NC with a ton of TN talent back in the 90s. The talent level in this state is far better now!!! I didn't say we have 85 players from TN. But, I would love to have between 25% to 33% of the team from TN that are studs!!! The point is. We aren't getting enough of the instate studs. Don't try to make my post something that it isn't!!!!!!! You are one of the best at trying to do so!!!

He'd probably have sucked if he'd have ended up here. I walked into the den a few minutes ago right as the a&m qb completed a big pass down the right sideline. Just before he threw it the left side defensive end got around the corner. The qb felt the pressure and slid to the right before completing the pass. I couldn't help but think if that would have been jg he'd have been sacked and we've have all talked about how bad our line was. But this qb (like most) avoids the pressure and it never even gets mentioned. We're just a train wreck

Not going to happen. Can’t sign em all, but apears CJP is going after West TN hard.

We need to face facts, we arent locking anything down until we win championships.
even then, UGA, Clempsin, Ole Miss, Vandy, OSU, Alabama all recruit in TN. And quite honestly there are arguably better players about. TN has come a long way but im not impressed by in state talent.

We took a lot more players from out of state in the 90's. Most years we took less than 10 instate players.
