I haven't seen anywhere the location of the set for College Game Day. They set up in Circle Park in 2012, however, this is now being used for the corporate tents. Has it been announced and if so do you like the location?

I heard they will be setting up in UT's end zone, as the Gators won't be using it. Gonna be the emptiest place on campus Saturday.

Hm.. should be cool watching them break down and move the whole set to the other end zone at end of the quarters

You get the day off from the jorts factory or something? You're sure blowing up our board today.

A few TN media members just tweeted out that it looks like Ayres Hall will be the location. That is where SEC Nation usually goes and honestly it would work out much better than Circle Park. I did not like it when it was there.

Oh ok. that location won't really showcase the stadium in the background but I guess it will be ok. I tailgate off volunteer Blvd, so I won't be making the track that far and up the hill to the set.

Anywhere along the newer addition to the pedestrian walkway (what used to be the last piece of Andy Holt) looking back towards the stadium would look decent. Ayres is iconic though, so certainly a solid choice.

This is a good spot, but there are so many great vantage points that include Neyland. This is all assuming the camera will be facing away from NS, and towards Ayers.

I would say it's more logistics than anything. Lot of gear to haul in and set up. Ayres is good since it doesn't mess up parking. I assume it'll be in the background as opposed to Helser or Nielsen and part of the stadium.
