Playing Ball State and Akron will do that for you. Fact is Hooker isn’t as accurate thus far. His stats look great but where he’s placing the ball isn’t as good this season. A lot of high throws, throws that don’t hit wrs in stride etc. He’s capable of more and I think he eventually gets there.

We have a pretty good secondary. The same starters from the Tennessee game last season.

Overheard at ESPN HQ during a meeting:

ESPN exec- "You know what? I absolutely despise Tennessee so why don't we go to Knoxville, have College Gameday there, give them tons of national exposure and show them how we really feel about them?"

The ignorance of some of this fan base is laughable and mind numbingly stupid at the same time.

I don't think ESPN really hates anyone, I just think they like drama and will say crap to entertain.

I mean they chose Knoxville for GameDay and put us center stage for this matchup. That doesn't seem like hate. (Plus there are several former student athletes that work at ESPN).

I often ask myself if I should go on a gator site and talk about Tennessee and every time I come up with hell no but I always see gators over here.

I know some of you welcome them but I just don’t get it. If they happen to win the game there will be several of them showing up !

No offense, but that means nothing. If they truly hated TN, I promise you they wouldn't have been in Knoxville today or showcase our games. This whole ESPN or recruiting services having a biast against UT is just so far from accurate. Paranoia is an ugly thing. We are big favorites, that's the only reason that was said. I see the same thing said numerous times on Football Saturdays and ESPN doesn't hate every team that is larger faves.

I don't think Tennessee's offense has been remotely close to firing on all cylinders yet, today would be a good day to see what they are truly capable of.
