In Illinois we start next week. This seems too early, especially in the south. Illinois plays 9 regular season games with 5 rounds of playoffs and we end Thanksgiving weekend with the state finals. I feel sorry for kids in the south who have to play football in this heat. I grew up in Chattanooga and played football and there were many days during practise and early season games I thought I was going to pass out.
