I'm behind him 100%. I just hope he is as good a coach as he is a talker. I definitely remember Volnation reacting very similarly to the Dooley hire press conference. A lot of people around here got fired up when Dooley said the right things.

Nobody wants to remember its the same as Dooley, for me it's impossible not to, people getting excited, coach speaking sounded good, seemed like a family man, even down to the AD cracking jokes. The only joke I hear about is UT athletics, and I hate it.

Yep...he's an improvement over Dooley but that's about it.........This was our Homerun hire?

You guys are hilarious. We've heard this same, consistent story from both sides but the Gruden people refuse to believe it. No matter how much hard evidence they could bring out and show you, you all would still say its a lie. You guys won't believe anything unless they would come out and say only what you want to hear. You want Hart to come out and say yes we could've hired Gruden but I didn't want too and you want Gruden to come out and say I wanted the job but they wouldn't give it to me. If they would say anything but that you will call it a lie. Get over it people, Gruden did NOT wnat to come here and he has NO interest in trying to coach college football. he is a football coach and thats all he wants to do is coach. he doesn't want to have to deal with all the stupid non-coaching crap that is required of college coaches.

I won't praise him, BUT, I wasn't involved in the search and I would assume you weren't either. It was mentioned that the Cincy AD stated that Hart was the only one who followed protocol. I live in Louisville and watched Tom Jurich's PC after Strong announced that he was staying in Louisville, and Jurich praised his class for following protocol and asking "professional courtesy" to speak to Strong. You may not like his hire, but at least he showed class to other AD's that might give our Athletic Department some good name. But as if you care. Judging by your comments class and apparently intelligence isn't in your repertoire!

I am still holding out judgement until next fall but I will admit that I think he won the press conference today. If our players will go to war for him he will have my full support.
