If the falcons want a higher draft pick why don't they trade Matt Shaub out it kind of makes me mad they're wasting away his career sitting him behind Vick. Plenty of teams would go for Shaub

The first irony is no Gators on those lists. The second irony is that you would think, with all that talent, that UT would be much more competitive.

Competitive like losing to the two best teams in the SEC by 4 points or less?

Mel Kiper knows more about football than all of us combined.

I'm pretty sure he's never even played football. He makes some good observations every now and then, but he also can come up with some bonehead predictions. I remember not too long ago he said that Mike Williams was the most dominant receiver in the draft and would be dominant in the NFL.

Mel Kiper was a pioneer at what he does. He has to be repsected until he passes the torch to someone else. I don't think the guy is a football genius. He can notice talent and observe where that talent could be utilized in the NFL.

In a nutshell: I don't put the guy up above anyone because he got where he was because he was the first and works for ESPN and has mad connections. As far as knowing the game I'm sure theres millions of people that could go toe to toe with him. Maybe even a couple in here. blaker and Knxfbfan.

the reason why Samardzija decided to choose the mlb over the nfl is because is smart . he knew he's first love was not baseball, but he is so arrogant he did not want to be exposed as a bust in the nfl.
Well, he also knows that contracts in MLB are 100% guaranteed, and in the NFL you get lucky if you get 70% of your original contract.
