Of the 35 players listed, I could see anywhere from 15-20 going ahead of Tyler Smith. This obviously doesn't include foreign players. Depending on who declares from the undecided list will determine whether he is mid 1st round or late 1st round.

Also, notice that he is nowhere on any of these lists.

Take what you want from this.

If a player declares for the draft but does not retain an agent does he have the option of staying in school if he is not drafted or drafted high enough?

Yes, as long as he pays all of the expenses for the pre-draft workouts, but he is only allowed to do that once.

Now there is the Randolph Morris rule, stating that a player who does not hire an agent may return to school if he withdraws his name by the given deadline to withdraw.

he cannot participate in the draft without becoming a professional player due to the rules now so he can go to predraft camps as long as he doesnt sign with an agent but he cant wait until after the draft to decide.
