Liquor in the stadium

I dont know about at the gate, but if they catch you with liquor in the stadium, you will be escorted out, maybe in handcuffs which I've see a couple of times. Sucks.

Depends on where in the stadium and what you're doing. I've seen it taken away with no other issues.

Its sec football... People drinking in the stadium is just another one of the traditions

Well, I'll be at the LSU game.....hoping for no problems bringing liquor in. How's section Q by the way? First trip to UT in a while.....anything I should be aware of?

I have a buddy that went down to and Ole Miss game with another friend and he said that guy would just get like 20 of those small shakers pom pom things and hold them in each hand.. Then he would grab a 5th in each hand with the shakers covering them up.. My buddy said he just walked straight in the game... He raised his hands up to be patted down but they never had a clue what was under the shakers.. true story.. never tried it myself.. I usually just stick with the airplane bottles..

Beware of the USHERS... they are out to make everyone sit in their seat and not say a word.. But just tell them nicely to F*** off and enjoy the game!

Last season, for the Montana game, I we walked in after kickoff. We were ham-fam from tailgaiting on G10. We all had huge mixed drinks, which we fully expected to just pour out at the gate or chug. We ended up walking in through some small gate near G10 with no line and one old guy taking tickets. Me must have been blind or drunk himself, because we walked right in with our huge drinks and he didn't say anything. Bizzare.

Anywho, we usually use a seat cushion to sneak in a ziplock bag full of booze. They never check the seat cushion!

Remember that time....oh wait that was only 4 weeks ago. I know, it seems like a year. :)

Yeah I'm thinking it was the rain that made that game so easy to get into.. After the delay they didn't check anything walking in..

Seriously?!?! I have a buddy coming with me who's gonna be making crazy noise!! It's not an old people section is it? Regardless, we plan to enjoy the game, but its nothing to worry about right? I hope no one gets mad when I start playing bartender!!

Idk about section Q.. I know Y7 has had a couple of old farts that didn't like us standing up cheering.. My sister just stands the entire game.. She's just Bi*** to the old people.. lol I try and be a little nicer but I'm not comfortable with a 21pt lead these days.. I like to get loud every play... I'm a fan for 4 quarters and then some!! The old people tried to get he ushers involved but last time they came down there I politely told them that I was a season ticket holder and that I have every right to stand up if I want too.. I hate to be mean to fellow Vols but there are people that would love to have their seats.. and would love to get loud to help their team.. If you don't like people standing up then stay at home and watch the game... :)

Personally I have found a place to store the booze that they never have nor never will be able to confiscate....

in my bloodstream........I've found a BAC of about .20 usually does me till halftime and then you hit the socks.

Parents have season tickets there. Great seats, I've had some good times there and no problems with liquor. Sometimes its a rowdy section and sometimes its dead... just depends. Should be rowdy for LSU
