Not true. I have got caught a couple of times . I just had to throw it away. My wife had some in her bag at the Cincy game this year. Just had to throw it away. I go to almost every game and I have never seen them not let someone in the game. True story.

I felt I should contribute to this. Avoid gates with KPD and Security(Yellow shirts). Find a gate with ushers(Green shirts). They don't search you. Most security won't, either(except for purses).

Thanks. I think I will definitely try to conceal my flask on me, instead of in my handbag. Because we definitely want to "hydrate" during the game :)

You really think KPD doesn't already know people smuggle some alcohol into the stadium??? They know it and they know how it's done. It boils down to picking out the ones who look like they are going to be irresponsible. You can't stop it, you can only limit it.

If they cracked down, they'd lose more people on the stands and post game citations. Not gonna happen.

IMO, I think that if alcohol was legal in the stadium, less people would probably drink....

Doubtful. The people who bring their own spirits would continue to do so, since the stadium price would be outrageous.

Otoh, drinkers who follow the rules and never smuggle alcohol into the game would now have an opportunity to indulge legally.

Surely there would be a net increase.

I enter gate 10, and I can't remember the last time I saw someone get patted down. I think with down attendance that they are being a bit more lax with it.

Well. Attendance won't be down on Saturday. It's a night game, so you all have plenty of time to get liquored up.

The new student gate pat downs are pretty invasive for guys. The lady pretty much grabbed my junk.
