You act like the two things aren't mutually exclusive.

If you think I am upset by the level of play right now, that I wasn't upset by the same level of play under Dooley? There isn't ONE person that I know, former UT players and former NFL players, that thinks UT is playing well. We aren't even talking about the plethora of life long fans either.

I really hope the team turns it around and executes better. We also need much better play calling, offensive system, and possibly better coaches.

not losing these two games the way it's played out has nothing to do with watching what we've seen and wondering aloud how the rest of the season will play out, should all things remain equal.

we'll win more games this season, no matter what. but if this program is going to be what everyone thinks it should be, it simply cannot play the way it has thus far.

playing this way is fine against teams that give up 5 turnovers and 100 yards in penalties.

it won't be against the likes of FL, GA, aTm, and Bama.

winning is better than losing. but the winning will come to a screeching halt if the level of play and execution doesn't change......fast. acknowledging this doesn't make you (me) a bad fan. it's calling it for what it is.

New week, new game, new opponent, same pitiful performance. CBJ and his entire staff should be put on notice. This isn't acceptable.

Overhyped and under motivated.

If the Vols get the W that's great but damn the expectations are greater than what is being delivered on the field.

Good teams run their offense with little regard to what next week's opponent sees on film - they challenge you to stop them.

Agreed. I've been one of Jones' biggest cheerleaders but I'm seeing nothing but regression of some great talent. Injuries are killing us but our backups are still (on paper) more talented than these opponents.. unacceptable.

The AD needs wholesale changes for our programs to recover, including football. We have regressed across nearly our all sports the last 5 years. It's been a slow train wreck.

Wasn't a good win, but I don't think it means we're not ready for Florida. This team (and last year's team) seems to play up or down to the situation. I think we play Florida tough and come out with the win.

Our most talented team in 8 years and this is Florida's least talented team in a least 6 years. And we may SQUEEK out a win? This staff is a joke. Great recruiters horrible coaches.

We aren't going to be squeaking out anything. Our OL has regressed in fast gear. That's why Hurd looks so bad. If I were him I would be pissed at how he is being used and used up. Dobbs will not be able to hit anything bigger than a swing pass. look for one of those to be pick sixed

Good talent but bad coaching on this team. The first three games showed what we had despite all the sunshine pumping.

The new AD will need to clean house ASAP.
