Either you are with UT and in support of our new head coach, or you can climb back on the Lane Train and go be a USC fan. Doesn't matter to me what you choose, but all this negativity about our new Coach is ridiculous especially that "Make fun of Dooley" thread. He didn't ask to be put in this situation, but hopefully he'll help us make the best of it. Things may or may not work out with him as our Coach, but for right now he's what we've got so I'm supporting him 100%.

I am an Auburn fan. I signed up here a month ago to talk recruiting. In my opinion you will be much better off in the long run with Dooley over Kiffin. He will win at Tennessee and his heart will be in it. Kiffin will get what he deserves at USC. I want to see you guys good as we have one thing in common, our hatred for Bama. Here's to meeting in the SEC championship game many times in the future and putting Bama in its place along the way...Best Of Luck with your new coach, he will be a good one...

I never said that it did. What I did say is that you have a choice to either accept him or shut up. *****ing about it isn't going to help anyone right now. You think recruits aren't looking at this board?

unfortunatley, you don't get to choose who gets to be vols fans or how we react. i for one love the university of tennessee and hate this hire.
we got dumped but instead of upgrading to show that you don't leave tennesse, we picked up the first thing we ran into at the bar.

i think ur not a big fan if u accept the hire,that means ur not wanting to win.
no way we get this guy,this guy coaching mentality is practicing and getting ready for schools like new mexico,etc,hate to see him get prepaired for florida or bama,etc.well still have my titans the other tennessee representave.

I'm excited about CDD and I think we'll be much better off for it. Those that are whining and complaining about the hire can just GTFO imo

No, all of you blind sheep that follow the same processes as communists do are the pieces of trash on this board.

"Oh, well we hired someone so we have to devote our lives to him and make sure that he knows he is all Vol because he's getting paid a whole helluva lot more money to come here. Who really cares who we hired, but we have to be all about him and that's our savior and he's leading us to the National Championship every single year he is ever here and he will never leave."

That's what I'm tired of hearing. I think we made a terrible decision! That's my opinion. Instead of letting Kippy take the reigns for a year and get us in the right direction and going from there, whether with him or a top notch coach who is SEC ready, we now have a minimum 5 year commitment to some guy who none of us have ever heard of. Is it wrong for me to disagree with this? No, and if you think it is, I could really care less. It's one thing to be set back a season, it's another to be set back a decade.

I too am tired of all this talk of because he's the Vols coach, suddenly I have to forget that I thought this was a bad hire.

We'll gladly welcome you back in three years (or less) when you've had time to see that Dooley has represented Tennessee with class and dignity, whilst simultaneously winning a ton of games without a hint of scandal.....

LSD is a powerful drug. Will he be as successful at UT in his first three years as he has in the pressure cooker of the WAC?
