Sorry, but I'm not going to debate this. I'm not attacking him as I have nothing against him. I am just not convicned I want the "thuggery"image associated with my UT :hi:
I'm not refering to the tats and dreds.. those don't bother me. I'm talking about what he allows himself to be associated with that gives him the "thug" vibe. Sure I don't know him personally and I'm sure he and I could have a good conversation, but he has crafted himself an image that thugs appeal to

Oh, I see what you're getting at. So, sorry, but I'm not sure I want to debate how Uncle Joe Bob from down in the hollar who calls in to National Televised programs or radio shows talking about, "Hell yaew, ifn Butch Jones caint git er dun and win the SEC nixt yeer ima thinkin we need to fahr eem un go aftur one uh them other fellars." I just don't know that I want Redneck Hillbilly image associated with my UT.
You see how that works?
You don't want a successful businessman from a minority ethnicity, with a college degree, who youth look up to as a role model associated with 'your' university.
Makes sense.
-Yeah what a role model. Rapping about drinking, partying, violence, negative connotations about women. Lyrics calling women hoes and bi!ches, calling people fa**ots. Walking around with a "pimp" cup, acting like pimping is cool and something that should be celebrated.
So we should be excited about someone like this? As opposed to a Jason Witten or Peyton Manning, guys who actually deserve the designation as role models? Guys like Lil Jon and Snoop whatever are not the type of people we need associated with UT.
I don't think I can be friends with some of the people on here. Everybody is different and has different tastes. Why can't Lil Jon AND Peyton represent our school? What's wrong with diversity? Lil Jon never robbed anybody.
It's 2014, y'all.
