Bring Lil Jon into the stadium for one of our big games and have him lead it on the board live every time. Don't announce it either, just let it be a surprise. That would be crunk. Other than that let it go IMO.

Most of the damage in the losses last season came on 4th downs so .......

I think it would be ok to get loud for 4th down too. The point of being loud it to disrupt their offense while at the same time encouraging our defense. Should our defense need crowd noise to play to their potential? No. Can crowd noise give them a little boost of adrenaline? Maybe, it's worth the effort. Could a recruit want to play in from of 100,000 fans going bananas? Maybe again. We should set a new standard, punt to punt.

The heck they do! It kills me whenever our fans are yelling or doing some cheer whenever our O is getting up to the line to run a play. Have seen CBJ wave his arms in a downward motion several times to get the fans to shut up.

Cheer after a good play, but then shut it when the team is lining up on O. How difficult is this to understand?

Yeah, honestly this bugs the s*it out of me when our fans are this dense. People screaming and cheering while we are trying to run our offense, or better yet doing the wave when we are on O. That should be strictly used on defense. It's meant to be a distraction. I love it when I see a 50 year old man get up in my section and start trying to get everyone to do the wave while we are driving deep into their territory. Sit your butt down.

I also hate when our fans cheer/do the wave when a player is injured as well. Show some respect even if you hate the team we are playing. Honestly, I love Vol Nation but there are some really dense and idiotic people out there.

It's under debate whether crowd noise is a factor at all. I feel we should be loud when on defense and a mouse when on offense.

Sorry to be the turd in the punchbowl, but isn't Turn Down for What a song about getting high? (Not that I would know anything about that.)

And doesn't that get you kicked off the team? Or is it only if you get caught?

Further, "Third Down for What" doesn't even make any sense?

Good riddance, I say.

/Geezer out.

I want Copperhead Road played between the 3rd and 4th quarters. Tell me the crowd wouldn't get loud for that

What the what is crunk?

Crunk- An ocean dwelling inhabitant of Saturn's moon Titan. The yellowish scaled, three eyed animal is typically only observed in an active state by the Hubble telescope on the third Saturday in October(earth calendar). On that day it is typically seen wearing some sort of organic orange covering with what most earth scientists agree is a T shape emblazoned on its front. Whenever a certain football team based in Knoxville, Tennessee has a successful play on that day, the Crunk can be seen jumping approximately 4 km into the Titanian atmosphere waving all six of its arm-like appendages wildly. If the Knoxville based football team is victorious on this day of activity for the Crunks, Crunk breeding always ensues. Notably, it has been several years since the Crunks last bred, and the entire population is becoming threatened.
