Stop being a bunch of whiny sissies. Lane started this mess by running off 60 odd players from the team and the recruiting class. Then he had a horrific class. It takes 10 years to recover from that mess. The last 2 after did as much damage. They had lightning in the bottle to have Dobbs or this would have been a sub 500 team every year. Now it is time to realize that Florida's players just looked bigger, faster and more athletic. BETTER! Pruitt can't fix the mess he inherited overnight. You can't call plays when the line can't block anyone. It will all be fixed in about 2-3 years and then they will get back to a few 10 win seasons here and there. Phil and his 10 wins per season are not walking through that door. That was not good enough. So run him off and watch it spiral. As it did. And many of us told you it would. Now relax, play your beer pong or corn hole, eat the BBQ and wait for it to be fixed. It will but not this year. Just like most of the first year coaches, the last coaches where fired for a reason. And as we can see, recruiting rankings can be deceiving. Ask Old Dominion and Army. So, before you start the fire Pruitt garbage, remember, as much as you think Tennessee is Alabama, look at the non Fulmer history and you will see what we really are. And if Pruitt can get us to 10 wins occasionally and Atlanta occasionally, he would be doing better then any other UT coach not named Fulmer. This is what many of you wanted and this is what you got. Not hush up and support the man so he can fix this mess he was left. And if you know anything about football, you would see that Tennessee's players just do not look like the other big teams. And one off season will not change that.

Yeah, same song, different year. Pruitt won't be here long enough to do anything.....Just like the others.

Dude gets paid a ton of money to coach. A blind monkey could put as good of a product on the field as Pruitt has thus far. What’s all the money for? Anyone can coach an overly talented team to some wins, coaches get paid to make things happen, sometimes against adversity. Heck at least give me a moral victory baby!! We were only 4 point dogs in this game, why get beat by a million?

Agree. At the time that Fulmer was fired most thought that we were just appeared in the SECCG and we have stumbled but the right coach could get us in right direction immediately
However we did not realize that the right coach was not interested in a job at U T so we had to settle for three straight hires that were not what we wanted
Imagine if a Dabo Sweeny had come to Tennessee rather than the ones we hired
At the time we all noticed that Fulmer had gotten lazy and we needed a change
It was the right decision at the time but now in retrospect it was a bad move
Who knew we would not make a good hire

It wasn’t that we didn’t realize the right coach didn’t want to come to ut, it’s that we didn’t realize the admin didn’t care at all about winning as long as the money rolled in.
