My point is this gentlemen: Some trucks are made for getting your hands dirty. Like this:

And some are made to be driven by the ladies. Like this:

You mean MY friends? My friends are poseurs - not allowed.

I'm confused as to how this answers anything. What's the point of jacking a truck up to get it all dirty, scratched up and broken by taking it off road? That's a lot of money just to mess it up... how is it any different than jacking it up to look pretty (in the eyes of the owner) and winning car shows or just flat out showing it off? What's the point of all the money I spend on golf? On fishing? On music? On sporting events and memorabilia?

I never understood lifting a truck for off road, lifting doesn't increase ground clearance by much. Unless you go with an independent drive line like the Humvee.

I think some lifted trucks look good just never been my thing.

You know what looks awful is a lifted Jeep Grand Cherokee. Just terrible.

a 'middle eastern jingle truck' and 'the Mexicans use of aftermarket chrome, two cultural groups you want to 'throw in' with to demonstrate your level of sophistication.....

I think are about 317 million Americans, and in the opinion of just one of them, me, the tires should be proportional to the size of the rest of the vehicle (thus my avatar).

My GMC is not lifted, but once my son gets out of college, I might get a different one and do that.

I drive a lifted vehicle and I agree that the majority of owners are dbags. Usually the bigger the lift, the greater the level. Mine's only a 3 inch lift:
