I tried to use the come back win as a " Life Lesson" teaching moment with my 15 yr old son watching the football game we saw yesterday. I'm not sure I expressed myself well enough. Can I get some help here?

Also, watching yesterday helped wash away a lot of bad memories with some good ones.

Keep up the good work Team 120!

Make sure you tell your son about the Georgia game last year, too.

A good many fans on this very message board embarrassed themselves yesterday by giving voice to their petulance by openly quitting on this team before the game was halfway over.

Sounds similar to a famous Winston Churchill quote. He knew a lot about never quitting.

Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy

You can definitely use it to teach resiliency to your son, the ability to pick your head up and move past a tragic event in life or rven just a bad day. That ability to know that there is always going to be a better day ahead and that he just needs to be able to mentally push through anything. Being able to bounce right back when adversity hits is very tough but it makes one stronger and wiser. As much as I hate the cliches, resiliency can get everyone through tough times.

Im having to be resilient today after my admitted meltdown in the first half.

3. If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam.
