Tomorrow, 1230 pm EST on local channel 20 in Knoxville.

Who's watching? Might be interesting to see how they handle their first game.

I live in Lynchburg aka Liberty Country. They have a pretty decent program. Turner Gill, Kansas's and Buffalo's old coach, is their head guy and he's built a decent program. I expect VT will have some growing pains tomorrow. Liberty may hang with them.

Turner Gill took a precipitous fall from grace. He was one of the hottest up-and-coming names for a while.

One train of thought has me pulling for Liberty to give VT all they can handle.

My second train of thought is for VT to stomp them so bad, they let the practice squad play the entire second half. Maybe they will get full of themselves and come into Bristol over confident.

Hmmmm...Which train to get on?

Train 1 please. I caught so much crap at work yesterday from students and faculty here at tech about us almost losing.

I actually like VT..they always seemed to do it the right way...which is the anti Bama, Auburn, and Ole Miss way

Yep, having guys like the Vicks and a kicker that slung cocaine out of his apartment are the right way.

VT rapidly declined in the late Beamer years. They haven't had a strong recruiting class in a long time either. Question is how can Feuntes handle the program. He did well at Memphis but VT is a much larger program in a much better conference. VT is not an easy place to recruit.
