But getting back to football and the '85 Sugar Bowl, I video taped the game as I was watching it. I'm gonna get that tape out and watch it this weekend.

2010. Called cops, he was not interested, would not even give us his name, hotel staying at went ho hum when we discovered the car that AM, said someone had reported it earlier, they hadn't bothered to do anything about it. We weren't in the hood, suburban area. Impression we got was it was so common they did not consider it worth bothering about. Local guy had told us not to bother reporting it, nothing would be done. He was correct but we wanted a report for insurance purposes. Never even got a report. Could happen in any city at any time, I have been in all 50 states and a lot of foreign countries...but my impression is it is a lot more likely to happen in Memphis. Rescheduled a trip and drove through Memphis rather than overnighting as planned. Probably the only way I will ever be there again..drive through it as quickly as possible. When the local law and the citizens are not concerned.....

I had the exact same thing happen at a hotel in Nashville. The hotel employees couldn't care less and after three hours waiting on the cops I just gave up. I never did get a police report. The hotel offered me 10% off if I came to stay again. After the lack of concern their employees showed there was no way in hell I'd ever stay there again. It sucks for sure but doesn't only happen in Memphis.

I thought the goal of this season was to just get to a bowl. Now there are complaints about which bowl we get? VN cannot be satisfied.

I hate the Liberty Bowl. The 74' game was the coldest football game I ever attended, it got down to 10 degrees at kickoff. Might as well have
been in Green Bay playing the Packers.

Ahh, whatever Butch wants to do I'm fine with. Might help recruiting, but so could a couple of other bowls.

I am happy that we made a bowl game, so I could care less which one we end up in. However, I was hoping to see us in the Music City or Belk, just due to location and driving distance for me. I like the possibility of a Notre Dame matchup in the Belk bowl too. Even though a lot of projections have us against WVU in Liberty, I feel like they could be a pesky team that could beat us. Regardless, I am glad we have the extra 15 practices and like the direction we are headed in, definitely feels a lot sweeter to continue to talk into the post-season and have momentum on our shoulders.

Get in your cars and go to Memphis. Just be sure to remember to lock your doors 😄. If i didnt already make the 10 hr drive to Savannah TN for thanksgiving, id be calling friends in memphis and asking if i could crash. Any of our projected bowls besides independence will have a home game feel. Even belk vs nc st will prolly see more orange. You know this fan base will travel

Well, some people choose to respect their opponents and some don't.

And there wasn't a prediction made by myself on the outcome of the game so that is something you designed in your head.

Acknowledging WVU is a tough draw for this team when you look at the match up, like it or not.

If you take umbrage to that, I don't care.

Coming here would certainly dovetail what Butch is trying to do from a recruiting standpoint and it dovetails with the university trying to attract students from Memphis.
