Congratulations, Vols. Flat out whupped the Gators last night. And while its obvious that Florida is not playing its best right now, that is no excuse at all and I think that UT played so well that even a really good Florida effort would not have made any difference in the outcome.

UT really does remind me a lot of Florida last year in the sense that they are peaking and coming together at the right time. Also, very unselfish play by everyone. That assist on the three by Lofton in the first half was top shelf.

You were in before, but this game gives you the big mo and probably an excellent seeding in the tournament, particularly if you win again and then get to SEC finals. I have some thoughts about Florida, but this is a congralutory thread and so I'll save them for another thread.

Law Gator. As much as you are a pain in the @ss, At least you have the intestinal fortitude to come back on here and say job well done. Most smack talkers would have not posted for a while.

Oh, its just a game in the end. I think most smack talkers would come back after a suitable period of mourning, lol.

This is my equivalent of not rushing the floor. Heck, after winning 3 of the last 4, this is getting kind of passe.:) (say a prayer of thanks that Lofton turned his ankle earlier in the season)

At this point, I honestly don't know if I want a rematch with you in the SEC tournament. On the one hand, if Florida could win a rematch, it would do wonders for their confidence. On the other hand, a loss would be utterly devastating to their psyche going into the tournament.

Florida has to reel off three or four in a row now to get its collective head back in the game and UT is the last team I want to see in that rotation.

I'm done with UF. I'll take the split this year and hope we don't have to see anymore of you all until next season.

Well, let me ask you this. Who is going to go further into the tournament, Florida or Tennessee?

Honestly, it seems to me that right now expectations are turning and that UT may, if this keeps up, have all the pressure on them to get to the second weekend.

I don't know. UT is probably going to run into a 1 or a 2 in the second round. They could win that game but, it is gonna be difficult.:hi:
