It was pretty good, but I wasn't really that impressed with it. Maybe I was just in a bad mood when I watched it.

i liked it, but it seemed to me when he was about to make a really good point, he'd go off on some tangent....but still, pretty good stuff.

Has anyone seen Sarah Silverman's "Jesus is Magic"?

Some good laughs but the ad ons to the stand-up routine are pretty much worthless.

Oh yeah, she's pretty hot too :w00t:

Lewis Black rules. I liked his 'Black on Broadway' special more, but this one was good too.

That's how he brings up new topics, it's his style. It's really good if you can keep up with it, like a mental picture of a topic tree of what he's talking about.

oh i know, i've seen his last two acts...and i really like his stuff....this one just seemed to be all over the place, and if done on purpose, fine.....but i felt like he was leaving me hanging on a couple of things...

I think he wrapped up everything nicely, if in a very roundabout way. The bit about Bush being infored about Hurricane Katrina is hilarious.

"You can't show me footage of a cat getting run over by a car and say 'the cat wanted to kill itself. Give me three days to find a note.'"

truly a comedic genius....just like Dennis Leary, he can vent on daily things and make me roll in the floor...

it was ok. he has some good points, but he is like bill mahr, cries and whines and cusses and changes nothing.
It's what political comics do. Now I'd say the same of conservative comics, if hardcore conservatives had a real sense of humor. But all we're left with is Dennis Miller masking poor rips on the French and global warming with highly obscure references.

The difference with Bill Mahrer is that he actually thinks he has the solutions to real problems. It's one thing to rant but to dog out every policy then propose your own half-baked, simplistic solutions is another thing. It's so arrogant that it gets old.

He should stick to comedy.

I stopped when he went from comedian to pundit. There are enough pundits that are comical already!

That sounded intelligent . . . I have no idea what it meant . . . but it sounded intelligent.
